For Nonprofits
A free website for your mission.
I partner with nonprofits on a simple agreement: I design and build your website at no cost, and your organization helps market Solo Digital to the community that trusts you. Your funding stays with the people you serve.
The Agreement
You get a website. I get an advocate.
Every dollar a nonprofit spends on a website is a dollar that is not reaching the people it serves. So instead of an invoice, we make an agreement. I design and build your site, the same client-grade work businesses pay real money for. In return, your organization helps market Solo Digital: a testimonial, the project in my portfolio, and a genuine word to your community through your newsletter, your socials, and your board. Advocacy from an organization people trust is marketing I can't buy, and I value it accordingly.
Before I did this full time, I was a teacher, and giving back is the part of that job I refused to leave behind. This arrangement is how I keep doing it without cutting corners: you put your funding toward your mission, I get real marketing from people who mean it, and the work stays at full quality because my name is on it.

What You Get
The same work my paying clients get.
A custom-designed website built around your mission, not a template
Mobile-friendly and accessible, so every supporter can use it
SEO basics wired in, so people searching for your cause can find you
Contact forms, volunteer signups, and links to your donation platform
A training walkthrough so your team can keep content current
Launch handled end to end: domain, hosting setup, and testing
Want proof it's real work? See the site I built for the Headed North Fund, a scholarship nonprofit helping K-8 students get into after-school activities.

How It Works
Four steps, no fine print.
01
Tell me about your nonprofit
Use the nonprofit form on the contact page. A few sentences about your mission and what you need is plenty.
02
We talk it through
A short call to walk through your goals, your content, and a realistic timeline. Plain English, no tech quiz.
03
I design and build it
Same process my paying clients get: design first, your feedback, then a fast, clean build.
04
You launch, you advocate
Your site goes live, and your organization makes good on the trade: a testimonial, a word to your community, and the project in my portfolio. That's the whole agreement.
FAQ
Fair questions.
Is the nonprofit website really free?
There is no invoice. Instead of paying, your organization signs on to a simple marketing agreement: you help spread the word about Solo Digital to the community that trusts you. You cover only your own running costs like the domain name and any donation platform fees, which you would pay with any website.
What does the marketing agreement involve?
Three things, agreed up front: a testimonial I can use, permission to feature the project in my portfolio, and a genuine mention to your community, in your newsletter, on your socials, or wherever your supporters already listen. It never gets in the way of your mission or your branding.
Which nonprofits qualify?
Mission-driven organizations doing real work: charities, community groups, churches, schools, and causes. I take on a limited number of nonprofit builds per year alongside client work, so if I'm at capacity I'll tell you honestly and give you a timeline.
Can the site take donations?
Yes. I connect your site to the donation platform you already use, or help you pick one. Donations flow directly through your own account; I never touch the money.
What if we outgrow the site later?
Then it did its job. The site is built on the same foundation as my client work, so it can grow into a CMS, event pages, or anything else. Future paid work is priced honestly with nonprofit budgets in mind, and there's never an obligation.
